HATHAWAY ALIGNMENT SCIENCE

 

Alignment is the balanced interaction of our muscles, skeleton and organs in agreement with the structural design of our body. Alignment allows us to have efficient and harmonious action. The results of aligned action are a healthier more relaxed body that does not accumulate stress or tension.

Health, longevity, ergonomics, body work, yoga, natural cures, alternative medicine, physical therapy, massage and sports are all fields that are helped by the Hathaway Alignment Science.

H.A.S. gives you a systematic approach to understanding the principles of alignment and the application of those principles to the body. As a procedure for working with others H.A.S. presents a methodology for introducing alignment, releasing tensions, reducing stress and solving physical problems of the human body naturally.

The study and application of the alignment principles that are particular to the H.A.S work enable a practitioner of any particular alternative medicine field:

1. To reevaluate the condition that a particular client may have. You can ask a client to do some expansive breathing for a period of time to correct some of the alignment deficiencies they may have. You may get some good indicators in respect to the clients problem.

Example: If a client has stomach cramps (this can be intestinal or menstrual) You may have them lay down with a pillow under their back and start expansive breathing to create more internal space in the stomach area. I have had consistent positive results from this immediate action. Very often the basic problem is internal congestion.

2. Bring some immediate relief and release to the client.

3. Select a program for working short or long term.

You may suggest specific principles and sessions for the client to work with. This gives space for further assessment of a particular problem.

4. Provide an educational self help situation for the client.

As you explain and work with alignment The information is absorbed and assimilated readily by the body since it is so natural. The feeling sense that alignment makes to most people gives them the power to work and relate with their own body in an accurate way.

5. Give the basis of your work a predictable model for the clinical data that will build with knowledge of alignment.

6. An ability to see and diagnose physical problems based on your understanding of alignment.
