18. Mean Orange meme
*The Dark side of the Orange Meme
“Ashes to ashes and clay to clay
if the enemy don’t get you
your own folks may.”
James Thurber
Last night I read this article and browsed the web site; Cancerinform.org. It is about medical and scientific nonsense that retard most doctors’ abilities to deliver sound medical treatment especially regarding cancer.
After reading this article and reflecting on
the basics of unethical behavior on the scale that can affect every one, all the
old satirical and anarchistic caricatures came to life in me. This sent me in to
finding out what the subject of anarchism is, to get a better perspective on
taking care of our selves.
geocities.com/CapitolHill
It turned out
that the web site on anarchism has a wide variety of information worth putting
our interneted attention on for a read.
Basically, I am reminded that all the alternative and integral waves that we ride to our own apprehension of life and living can cut through so much of the suffering that is prepared for humanity by our mean orange meme representatives.
Take care in this the best of all possible worlds.
*Note: The Orange Meme refers to one of the Developmental Stages in Clare Graves and Donald Beck’s line of the different stages In Spiral Dynamics., The term "Meme" refers to a core value system. This is used extensively in Ken Wilber’s’ work on stages and states and developmental lines. The reference to mean orange meme is used to describe some of the nasty elements of this stage development that fail to serve the greater good. One could say a result of the non-integrative impulse, as opposed to the idea of embracing and including.

Cancer treatment rendered by the medical establishment can be summed up with three words: cut, burn poison. Billions upon billions have been spent researching cancer treatments, but the sorry fact is that we have little to show for it all. Worst of all, medical protocols that show promise are often ignored.
In my view, people recover from cancer in spite of modern, mainstream medical techniques rather than because of them. But I will stop here. I’m just not in the mood to debate the matter any more.
The evidence is there for all to see. Thank you for an informative post.

Your welcome Solstice. While we go through all of this conspiratorial information I find it is helpful to observe how my internal, from mind to body starts to activate and I have to breathe easy to remain calm in the face of very unsettling information.
What you are doing in the meditation hall is wonderful and provides a space for us to just sit and pause. Thank you.
